Our community

At Windsor Methodist Church, we believe that faith is lived out in community. We are a diverse and welcoming church family made up of individuals and households of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. Whether you’ve worshipped with us for decades or you’re new to Windsor, you are part of something bigger here.

Children, young people and families

We are a family-friendly church with regular activities for children and teenagers. Sunday School runs alongside morning worship, with creative and age-appropriate Bible teaching. For teenagers and tweenagers, the Geese group meets fortnightly.

We also host toddler groups, youth gatherings, and family-friendly events throughout the year, including Messy Church.

Groups and volunteers

Church life is shaped by the many people who give their time and talents to serve. From musicians and flower arrangers to community outreach volunteers and welcomers, our church runs on shared effort and mutual care.

We’re always looking for more helpers — whether you can offer a regular commitment or a few hours for a one-off event. Speak to any steward or contact us online to get involved.

Our minister

Our minister Rev’d Vicci Davidson leads Windsor Methodist Church and is also the Circuit Superintendent, with oversight for the Thames Valley circuit. Vicci is passionate about inclusive worship, creative prayer, and helping people discover their calling. You’ll find her leading Sunday services, running our Geese youth group and circuit-wide initiatives. Vicci and the circuit ministry team are supported by a team of local preachers, worship leaders, stewards and many other volunteers.

Our leadership team

Our leadership team, chaired by Rev’d Vicci Davidson, is responsible for the smooth running of services and many behind-the-scenes duties. The team is accountable to the Church Council and helps ensure Windsor Methodist Church remains a safe and welcoming place for all.

Church Council

The Church Council is like the board of trustees for our church, and collectively has similar responsibilities to charity trustees. Meeting three times a year and in combination with our AGM for all church members, the Church Council presides over appointments and the initiation, monitoring and funding of all church programmes. The day-to-day running of the church is performed by the leadership team.

Our circuit

We are one of 10 churches in the Thames Valley Methodist Circuit, working together to support mission and ministry across the region. The Circuit provides shared resources, worship leadership, safeguarding coordination, and prayerful oversight of our church life.
