Unbound: A Gospel that breaks barriers (Circuit Easter Offering service)
Jesus talks about God's Kingdom as a place of release from captivity. The stories in this year's Easter Offering service tell of different ways that this is coming true. People across the world might be trapped in many ways - by poverty, by violence, by the actions of others or of their own past. Sometimes the things that bind us are deep in our own hearts. Through Bible Study, worship, art and story, the Easter Offering service help us to think about God's Good News of freedom. There is inspiration in the stories of others and prayer for all those still struggling for liberation.
For over 100 years, the Easter Offering service has been a key fundraiser for the Methodist Church's World Mission Fund - a response to the Easter celebratino of the new life of the resurrection. This year's service has been written by Methodist Women in Britain, and will be led by members of churches across the circuit and hosted at Ledgers Road Methodist Church at 3pm on the 26th of April.
Café-style breakfast service
Café Church is a relaxed and informal way to explore faith and community. We begin by sharing breakfast together before moving into a time of accessible worship, conversation, and reflection.
Gathered around tables with food, music, and storytelling, there is space to ask questions, share experiences, and discover what faith means in everyday life. It is a warm and welcoming setting for all ages, especially for those who might not feel at home in a traditional service.

Tea Time for the Soul service
Teatime for the Soul is a short, dementia-friendly service designed to be gentle, familiar, and inclusive. With well-loved hymns, simple prayers, and a calm atmosphere, it offers comfort and connection.
After the service, everyone is invited to stay for afternoon tea, where conversation and companionship are shared over cakes and refreshments. It is a warm and welcoming space that nurtures both faith and friendship.
